Heavily Made Up


Our story begins like any love story

Michael and Meena were at a restaurant, and both ordered a John Dory

But orders were two, and only one fish

So the waiter recommended that they share a dish


And as it is bound to, one thing led to another

Soon both were flocking together like birds of a feather

The sparks between them were brighter than those when Sally met Harry

But unlike those two idiots, our perfect couple didn’t take a lifetime to marry


And now it was the night of the wedding reception

When they would meet their family and friends, and end all deception

As usual, Michael was ready for the party in a jiffy

But then he looked at Meena and found her appearance a bit iffy


Michael kept looking at Meena in surprise

Such heavy makeup, he thought, almost as if she was…
