The train slowed down as it reached the platform, and then suddenly picked up speed again.
“Nooooooo…” Iain cried out, as he started running alongside the train desperately.
Suddenly, one of the train’s doors opened, and Iain was pulled onto the train.
“Thanks….” said Iain, panting heavily, “what time do we reach Glasgow?”
Getting no response, Iain looked up, only to see two boys dressed in a strange school uniform, goggling at him.
One of them spoke up to the other now, “You know Ron, I don’t think this is our new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.”

That really only leaves them two choices: throw him from the train at speed, or use the obliviatus spell
Or maybe make him the new DADA teacher 🙂
I don’t think they’re going to Glasgow… 🙂
Let’s not tell Iain yet 🙂
I think he’s being taken for a ride, whatever.
Let’s wait and watch 🙂
The destination is sure to be more interesting than Glasgow…
I’m not sure Iain would agree 🙂
No. most likely not….
Oh dear..it pays to check before leaping on any train!
Absolutely.
This would actually be my worst nightmare. Fortunately I have never gotten the train to Glasgow and ended up in Hogwarts…yet! 🙂
That last word was very important 🙂
That made me chuckle, Anurag! So I read it to my grown up son, and he chuckled too!
Awwwww, you just made my day. Thank you so much Penny 🙂
hehhehehe! That’s hilarious!
Dear Anurag,
Is this our Iain? I’m sure it’s not the day he’d planned for himself. Good one.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thank you so much Rochelle.
it looks like he caught the wrong train. it would be interesting what happens next. 🙂
Let’s ask Iain 🙂
What a fun take, Anurag!
Hogwarts had such a time getting the right teacher for this particular class…
Indeed, properly jinxed. Maybe they did need Iain 🙂
What has Iain stumbled on. Perhaps he will learn a trick or two.
Or they will 🙂
Good story, well written, Anurag. Iain wouldn’t like that job. Those teachers don’t last more than one year and it can be fatal. 🙂 — Suzanne
Ha ha ha. How true 🙂
Muggle alert!!!
Ha ha ha. Yes!
Very creative story! 🙂
Thank you so much Brenda 🙂
He’s stumbled on a way of avoiding that brick wall at the station. I hope that information doesn’t get out. Fun story.
Ian is on wrong train or in wrong company. Poor Ian, this happens when you don’t reach station on time.
I wonder why they thought he was their Defence against dark arts teacher in the first place? Whatever his expectations, Iain is up for a treat.
Fun write.
