The Unwelcome Guest

I had been waiting for him since the morning, the one bright spot in my otherwise drab existence, but today, he was late, quite late.

My parents were against my mingling with him, and had warned me umpteen number of times that they would have to resort to strict measures to keep him out.

But they themselves were out today, and so, I had called him over.

He entered through the front door just then, and my face lit up.
So did his, as he rushed towards me…. and crashed right into the newly-installed anti-ghost glass door.
Sigh! Poor Casper!
