Santa Claus checked the Cafe once again to see if anyone had been left behind. It wouldn’t do if any of the little ones didn’t return with him to the North Pole. Christmas Eve was just days away, and he needed each one of them desperately.
The party had been Mrs. Claus’s idea, and Santa had to admit that it had been a kick-ass one.
They’d spared no expense towards making it a grand success, right from advertising on Facebook, to hiring something called Influencers for Instagram and Snapchat, to arranging for the choicest of dishes from around the world (a fringe benefit of circumnavigating the globe every year). They’d pulled out all the stops, and it showed in the massive turnout.
Santa smiled as he recalled the wild excesses of the night. Yes, it was a night that all of them would remember for the rest of their lives.
Satisfied that no one was left, Santa got on to his sleigh.
“All done?” asked Mrs. Claus.
“Yes,” Santa Claus replied, as he looked behind at his sack, filled to the brim with all the children they’d kidnapped to replace the darned elves who had suddenly gone on strike.

Here’s wishing all the lovely people whom I’ve ‘met’ through my blog the merriest of Christmases. Thank you so much for enriching my life in ways that you could not even have imagined. Ho Ho Ho!
awwww naughty Santa! love it! 🙂
Thank you so much Lady Lee
Santa should drive a better vehicle now that he has access to Facebook, snapchat and other social media. Times are changing. How come PETA is not after him for flogging his reindeers across five continents?
Ha ha ha, good question
OOH! That was dark!
Sorry 🙂
I never realised Santa had a dark side! Clever!
Thank you so much Keith!
He’ll send all those kids back when he finds out what dodgy workers they are!! hahaha Nice twist
Ha ha ha, quite likely. Thank you so much Violet.
The kids will probably help themselves as they work and have their pick of the toys.
That’s another way of looking at it 🙂
Someone tell the CBI! Nice twist Anurag – merry Christmas
Thank you so much Dahlia, and a Merry Christmas to you too.
Yikes!
Ha ha ha. Sorry 🙂
It had me giggling too… 🙂
