Photo Prompt courtesy Douglas M. MacIlroy
People are really ungrateful.
You create your entire world around them, love them, feed them, treat their smallest wish as your command.
But you inadvertently commit the tiniest error, and they crib and cry, they whine and complain.
And it’s not like it’s the end of the world, come to think of it.
One small mistake.
Just this once, I forgot to insert a brain in a human, and so much brouhaha. I did give him a thick set of carrot-colored hair to compensate for it, didn’t I?
Look at him playing with that nuclear football, so cute…..
OOPS!

Indeed people without brains are the most dangerous. Playing (misusing) with nuclear energy is one of them.

So true Kalpana. Thank you so much.
Ooh, this reminds me of someone, it’s on the tip of my tongue… 🙂
Naaa, it’s gone 🙂
Ahh. The wee orange bampot. I recognised him
Ha ha ha, I love that description 🙂
Even the creator had no idea what they had unleashed…!
Absolutely 🙂
without brains, feels like a familiar scenario
🙂
Oh my goodness, the ending is hilarious, I didn’t see that coming. Very creative story!
Thank you so much Brenda.
Didn’t mention the microscopic hands, nor the third grade vocabulary. Good one.
Thank you so much Sandra.
i wanted to believe you’re not referring to someone who became president. 🙂
Never! How can you even think that? I’m scandalized 🙂
Oh…. ouch… yeah.
🙂
Who needs a brain? No one is complaining lack of brain, as long as there is blue pill.
Ha ha ha
What a wonderfully creative take on the prompt!
Thank you so much Penny.
Small mistake, massive consequences! Oops indeed!
Indeed. Thank you so much Keith.
That was a nice touch, giving him red hair instead of blond. 🙂
Thank you so much Russell.
Really creative. So many people can’t see that what they may see as small mistakes can have bigger consequences on others. Great metaphor.
Dear Anurag,
Small mistake? Some days the magic works and some days it doesn’t.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Ha ha ha, true that.
Interesting take on the prompt.
Thank you so much Indira
You are welcome, dear.
Clever take. However I think there must be plenty more brains missing, hence the outcome of the election.
Ha, you have a point 🙂
Different take on the prompt, the brainless are the most dangerous
Indeed they are. Thank you so much Michael.
But can he really do anything..? no one has such small hands
Ha ha ha, fair point. I hope you are right 🙂
