I’m not ashamed to admit that my eyes teared up a bit as I saw the headline screaming the truth out to the world. It had taken a lot of effort on my part, but I had finally been vindicated, no one would be calling me a madwoman anymore.

My grand plan had kicked off with calls to the offices of Media Doyens C.E. Ayr and Iain Kelly. I introduced myself as someone who was closely linked to Nessie, mistakenly referred to as the Loch Ness Monster, and invited them for evening tea in a cafe by the Loch Ness for irrefutable evidence of Nessie’s, existence.

As expected, the media turnout had been impressive, and the atmosphere was positively crackling with anticipation.

At exactly 1700 hours, I entered with a flourish, and the buzzing hall suddenly became silent as a tombstone.

By 1701 hours, the first panic call had gone out to their bosses- The monster…the monster….

By 1702 hours, I had transformed back into a frail old woman.

I took a loud burp as I recalled the excesses of last evening. These damned reporters were as difficult to digest as the news they dished out every day!

Haha, is it too late to apologise for not believing!? First time I have been the victim in a story 🙂

Very amusing, sir, though gulping food at that rate will usually lead to digestive problems!
