I looked at the majestic mansion and, once again, wondered how the man it belonged to had managed to become one of the richest people in the country.

You would assume that someone who was rolling in dough would not mind sharing some of it with his flesh and blood, but all my attempts to extract some loose change out of him had been unsuccessful.
And so, today, I was being forced to do something so abhorrent that I could almost see my ancestors tut-tutting at this shameful behaviour of their descendant. I just hoped that history would judge me more kindly, and understand that it was just business, nothing personal.
Gathering up my courage one last time, I walked up to the imposing door, and rang the bell. Too tight-fisted to keep a butler, he opened the door himself.
“You!” he shouted.
Unfazed, I looked him in the eye, and said, “If you don’t give me a thousand dollars, Uncle Scrooge, I’m going to leave Huey, Dewey, and Louie with you for babysitting again!”

Poor Donald, always the loser!
Who knows, maybe he has a promising career ahead as a blackmailer 🙂
That’s a grave threat.
Will Uncle Scrooge like baby-sitting? Certainly not one when he doesn’t want to hire a butler…

Pay the money, Scrooge! Nice twist on the prompt – you made me smile there
Haha! At first I was like ‘Vampire?’
Was not disappointed! Scrooge is basically a money-vampire!
Nice build up. For a while there, you had me thinking that it would end differently! Great job. 🙂
