Letting Go

You hold her tight, as if you would never let go.

For three years now, day and night, she has been your constant companion. She’s seen you at your best and, even though you didn’t want her to, your worst.

She came into your life when you were just coming out of a brutal breakup, and by giving you her all, unconditionally, saved your life.

You hold her tight, as if you would never let go.

But let go you must.

For you need to move on in life.

You’ve found a girl who has blown you off your feet. And you can never even dream of cheating on her.

So, you hold her tight, as if you would never let go.

But then, with tears flowing freely down your eyes, you let go….and she falls into the canal behind the bar.

It breaks your heart, but you know that your future wife will kill you if she ever found out that you’d been seeing a Japanese sex doll before you met her.
