PPP- The Event of the Millenium

The hall was all decked up, almost ready for PPP– the GREATEST EVENT OF THE MILLENNIUM, as the organizers had billed it, and the frantic sounds of last-minute adjustments were permeating through the surroundings. The gates were firmly shut, and guarded by two burly guards with automatic rifles. With important delegates like these, one could never be too careful.

The entrance to the hall was cordoned off, and an Angora-wool red carpet was soon going to be rolled on the ground on which those privileged and super-exclusive feet were going to be walking later in the evening.

As was usual on such occasions, sundry beggars and freeloaders tried to park themselves near the venue, but the super-efficient cops took care of them promptly, and permanently.

The clock finally struck Nine, and a Rolls Royce Sweptail came to a halt right in front of the red carpet. A liveried host opened the door, and the first delegate jumped out with a swag. The first-ever edition of Pretty Pomeranians of Punjab was now officially on its way.
