Mr. Perfect

Carmen looked at the figure approaching from a distance, and then at her watch. Yes, it was definitely Justin, he was NEVER late.

The watch….It had been a gift from Justin, just like everything in this plush apartment. The jewelry, the cash, the perfumes, the designer clothes. He had a taste for the finer things in life, and had never skimped from sharing them with those he loved.

And he had loved her, with all his heart and soul, for three long years that they had been together. This apartment, and everything in it, was proof of that.

And today, he was going to propose, she just knew it in her bones. The signs were all there: the furtive movements, the nervous giggles, and the diamond ring that she had discovered in his drawer.

Almost breathless with excitement now, she waited for him to enter the apartment. His reaction as he saw his wife standing over the body of his mistress, the one he had set up in this apartment, would be priceless indeed!
