The Incurable Romantic – #AtoZChallenge #BlogchatterA2Z

My heart soars with unfettered joy as I fly towards Janice, the love of my life. She doesn’t know it yet, but she is soon going to become my wife, for I am going to propose to her today.

We have been seeing each other for a long time, but it is only today that I have found the perfect gift to go with my proposal, this envelope, containing a symbol of my eternal love.

March 31st 2013

I am so looking forward to that enchanting moment when she will open the envelope, and find my gift.

I’m thanking my lucky stars that I overheard those humans talking about this envelope, and discovered the technological advances that had taken place in their world.

After that, swooping down and carrying away the envelope was child’s play.

My Janice is going to be so happy when she realizes the lengths I went to for getting her fresh breakfast, that too, packed in an envelope. How’s that for a romantic gesture?

On our wedding, I will gift her something even more special. Those humans were talking about this snail mail being replaced by something called email.

I wonder what the ‘E’ stands for. Eel maybe?

The challenge is hosted by Al Forbes, who shared a very sad news this week that he will no longer be able to host it, after giving it birth five years ago, and nurturing it so patiently and lovingly since then. I wish him all the best for his rehabilitation, and hope that he gets the strength to overcome his medical issues. Thank you so much Al.
