Office romances can be notoriously tricky, but ours was trickier than most, for the only place we could meet was out in the open, in the smoking area, with the eyes of the world looking at us.
But prying eyes was the last thing on my mind that day, as I looked at her with undisguised affection in my eyes.
She noticed the look, and interpreting it correctly, said, “Nooooo, not here, not now.”
“Please, just one kiss,” I almost pleaded.
“Are you crazy, anybody could be watching us,” she said in mock anger.
But I was relentless, “No one will suspect a thing, trust me.”
She gave in finally, as I knew she would, and hastily executing a canoodle, we were back as we were before, no one had noticed a thing.
Meanwhile, Joe, out for a smoke with Sam, suddenly saw something out of the corner of his eyes, and said, “I need to cut down on the weed dude, I thought I just saw the CCTV move and kiss the light.”
