The Party

Note: Originally published on Facebook on June 20

The moose was feeling really hungry, and cribbed to the reindeer Brall
This, my dear friend, is no way to throw a party at all
The walrus, who was passing by in search of some fish
Concurred and said, Right now, I would give my right moustache for a dish, any dish

The seagulls, you see, had thrown a party at their club at eight
But by the time the guests arrived, fashionably late
They had gobbled up all the food that had been prepared
And the guests could starve themselves to death, for all they cared

But there was to be no starving that night
For the Arctic Fox had a brilliant solution in sight
He whipped out his mobile, and dialed a number
And within minutes, the party had woken up from its hunger-induced slumber

There were pizzas, hamburgers and kebabs galore
On the table, on the bed, and even on the floor
For whatever your order, Honningsvag’s Viva Napoli would never linger
As it had to live up to its epic promise of- Du Ringer, Vi Bringer!
