Francesco was beaming with joy and pride
From a loser to Employee of the Month had not been an easy ride
The captain of the ship had publicly acknowledged his contribution
If not this, he had no idea what else could be the cause for a huge celebration
All his colleagues were toasting his success
Little aware of the secret he would never reveal, even under severe duress
For he may not have helped repeal any pirate attacks or performed any publicized acts of heroism
But he had saved the Captain, 1500 crew members and 4500 passengers from a catastrophic cataclysm
The captain, you see, was trying to impress his girlfriend Fleur
And in doing so, took the ship too close to the shore
The ship hit rock bottom, literally, and saving it seemed to be an impossible task
And it was at this point that Francesco revealed that he was, in reality, The Mask
He did the swirling and rotating action inspired by Shaktimaan
Reached the bottom of the ship and pushed it back into deep waters with elan
And so it was, that on being awarded, and lauded as a model employee
Francesco’s acceptance speech consisted of only three words- Somebody stop me!
